I am not abandoning Crème de Citron, fear not! I have just been going through different life changes and challenges and wanted to take some time for myself and as the quote says, be good to myself.
Unfortunately, I had barely spent two weeks in our new home that I had to take a last minute flight to France as my grandfather passed away. I am not going to go on and on about it but let's just say that those were emotional times and I have been finding the grieving part a bit difficult. I decided to spend a bit of time in France with my family to go though things that have to be done in those sad times. We also shared some wonderful stories and anecdotes about my grandfather and this time spent with all my family was a great thing.
A few days after being back from France, I made my way to London where a few jobs were waiting for me. I got to do a food photo shoot for a French company based there and I cannot wait to tell you more about it as this product was really delicious and the experience altogether was really great.
While there, I also photographed headshots for two Australian actors. And I spent a few hours in the cold and misty Hackney doing an engagement shoot for a wonderful couple (those photos will be shared soon on the blog).
During that very busy week, I managed to fit in a day of walking around London with E., eating in lovely places and seeing a great exhibition (more about this in a next blog post).
I was barely back from London that a photo shoot awaited me in Dublin for a lovely little family.
The last few weeks have been spent learning a new photography software (wow! that was quite the challenge but I am glad I got the ins and out of it) and editing a whole lot of photos as you can imagine.
And most importantly, I have been spending the last few months being good to myself.
Now, I am ready to give this little blog its 'back to school' time and hope to share many delicious recipes soon. I also want to make a few changes so it is not just a food blog anymore but also share lifestyle moments, travels and photo projects. I hope you stay along with me for all that awaits!
P.S.: Those photos were taken on Killiney beach in County Dublin, on a day I was being good to myself.
